  • Veritas: Villanova Research Journal

Founded in 2019, Veritas: Villanova Research Journal (VVRJ) is the first peer-reviewed undergraduate research journal at Villanova University. VVRJ promotes investigation and discovery, the peer review process, and the work of Villanova students and their faculty mentors by publishing scholarly work across all fields of study. VVRJ publishes student research that meets its standards, is authored by Villanova undergraduates or recent graduates, and promotes the pursuit of truth.

  • Praxis

The journal Praxis publishes issues containing peer-reviewed academic papers initiated at the annual Philadelphia Theatre Research Symposium, held at Villanova University. Each issue contains papers presented at the previous year's conference.

The goal of the Philadelphia Theatre Research Symposium is to provide a forum for scholars and practitioners working in the area of theatre research and practice to come together to share their research and enter into a dialogue about current trends in theatrical practice and scholarship.  PTRS is aimed at theatre professionals as well as faculty who are teaching and publishing in the fields of criticism, performance studies, theatre and culture, theatre and politics, and theatre theory.  In addition, we aim at facilitating a forum for new scholars – graduate students – to share their research and writing.  It is our hope that this gathering will improve interdepartmental dialogue and promote the growth of scholarship in the area of Theatre Studies for the Philadelphia region.

  • CONCEPT

CONCEPT accepts submissions from Villanova graduate students in all fields of the arts and sciences. Submissions are reviewed by graduate student editors, faculty editors and peer reviewers, with final decisions made by the editors.

  • Journal of Catholic Higher Education

The Journal of Catholic Higher Education is the peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary, semi-annual journal of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities.  It is the only international journal dedicated solely to the distribution of scholarly work and commentary with a focus on contemporary Catholic higher education in the United States and around the world.

  • Expositions

Expositions is an on-line journal where scholars from multiple disciplines gather as colleagues to converse about common texts and questions in the humanities. Acting on the Augustinian principle that nothing human is foreign to the sympathetic heart, we seek articles, interdisciplinary exchanges, and briefer notes and insights that benefit teaching, research, and the life of the academy.

Expositions provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
