William R. LaFleur

William R. LaFleur is E. Dale Saunders Professor in Japanese Studies in the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, University of Pennsylvania. Also a senior fellow at Penn’s Center for Bioethics, he has long pursued an interest in comparative ethics. His many publications include Liquid Life: Abortion and Buddhism in Japan (1992).
